This step-by-step guide shows you where and how to obtain all five Mentor Armor pieces in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This set is a Raven Gear type of armor and will benefit from the Yellow Skill Tree passives!
What is the whole mentor
In Assassin’s Creed, Valhalla armor sets provide a unique look to your Eivor character, but also provide special and unique set bonuses if you equip more than one piece belonging to the same set.
The Mentor Set is a collection of armor pieces available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is part of the Raven equipment collection (Assassin / Stealth skill tree) and any Yellow Growing Passive Crow gear in your skill tree will directly increase that set’s stats. This is a mid-level armor set. You can, of course, increase it.
The mentor set contains the following set bonuses:
- (2) Increase attack after critical hits
- (5) Further increase in speed
The numbers in parentheses indicate how many pieces in the set you must equip to get the bonus perks. It doesn’t matter which pieces of armor you install as long as they belong to the same set.
When can you get the AC Valhalla Mentor Kit?
All five pieces are available in England. Contrary to Set of those hidden, this one will take you to guarded areas and you will either have to fight your way or be smart with stealth. You can get this armor at around 80 or more. You can do this at a lower level as well, but you’ll have to be extra careful to avoid fights with overpowered enemies.
When should you get the mentor kit at AC Valhalla?
It depends on your playstyle. You can get the set right from the start (can get it as soon as power level 80 or above). Note that some areas are high level and heavily guarded. I managed to get through everything at power level 83. If this set is what your Eivor version needs, there is no need to delay its acquisition.

How to get the Mentor Kit in Valhalla
The mentor set contains five pieces of armor. The armbands and the torso are in Suthsexe. The cape and mask are in Snotinghamscire and the pants are in Wincestre. The following sections of this guide will take you step by step through all the obstacles to get the items and get the full set.
The mask is in the legendary (in the making) Sherwood Forest, in Sherood’s hideout, Snotinghamscire.
Run into this building, the chest is right in it, no towers, no puzzles. Just watch out for the guards.
The mantle can be found in the Loch Clunbre lair, located on the banks of the River Maun in Snotinghamscire.
Enter this small building. Defeat the guard standing next to the chest, grab the key and unlock it.
The torso piece is in Seint Lewinna Church in Guildford, Suthsexe.
On the south side of the church, go up and pull the ladder to release the weight. This will free your access to the top floor.
Go down and shoot the fragile wooden floor to reveal the hole on the first floor.
In the next room, move the objects to free the door.
The chest with the piece of armor is at the end of the next room.
The chest can be found in the basement of Anderitum Hideout. It is in the south of Suthsexe.
The entrance is through this hole in the ground:
When you jump down, turn west and slide through the hole in the wall right next to you. Follow the hallway, then slide through another hole in the wall.
Now on your left there should be a wall that you can break with a rotch. The flammable vase is on your right.
Bring the flammable vase through the hole and throw it at the weak stone wall segment in the next room. Follow the hallways and stairs. Break the weak wooden obstacle to enter the room with the chest.
The pants you’ll find southwest of Wincestre in the southwest corner of the map. The chest is inside the Wincestre garrison, a heavily guarded area.
The chest is inside the building with the four red flags.
Meet at the bottom of the stone stairs outside the building. Aim through the narrow window and shoot the lock on the interior door.
Enter the building through the front door, turn left and enter the side room, where the chest is.
This concludes my Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mentor’s Armor Set guide.
